Pro Schütz is a family-run house with a global perspective. We create living collections for animals, shaped where form and function flow naturally into one another. Each piece draws on real life with animals, refined design culture and a deep devotion to our dearest companions – made for homes where love, joy and well-being are the essence of daily life.

Our work is guided by a simple truth: beauty alone is not enough, and function without beauty has no soul. It is only when form and ergonomics are inseparable something enduring emerges. Creations that enrich the home and make life genuinely better for both animals and their humans.

Every creation must be both ergonomic and life-enhancing, easing the everyday experience of the animal. Precision for us is not technique, but respect: in the way a line is drawn, a material chosen, a seam completed.

Heart & Soul
Without Dara, all of this would never have been possible. The ten-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback of our founder, Arnold Schütz, set everything in motion with the story of her life. Out of love for her came the insight that care alone is not enough and that the market offered nothing that truly combined comfort, thoughtful design and function in equal measure. From that insight grew our first Brand, Meuscele, and with it Pro Schütz as its home. An expression of a rare bond, given form.

Founder & CEO
Arnold Schütz is leading Pro Schütz as founder and owner. The idea for the company was born through Dara, whose needs revealed what animals truly require and what the market had long neglected. His work stands for unconditional devotion to animals and their needs. Since 2018, he has shared this commitment on his Instagram account @meuscele, where he documents Dara’s daily life. Thousands have followed the journey of the Rhodesian Ridgeback, forming a community that extends far beyond the digital world. With Pro Schütz and the signature brand Meuscele, Arnold Schütz has transformed this experience into a clear vision: to create pieces that allow animals not merely to be cared for, but to live with love, comfort and a sense of belonging.
Timo Heß
Design & Communications
Timo Heß not only developed the brand concept for Meuscele and Pro Schütz, but also designed the first products, built prototypes and brought them to life with his own hands and his sewing machine. His responsibility extends from form and material to the very language of the brand. In his work, design and craft, strategy and communication come together. With more than 13 years of experience in design and marketing, he is the one who translates the vision of Pro Schütz into form. At Dara’s side, as her second companion, and as a dad to two cats, he has experienced how deeply animals shape our lives and the responsibility that comes with it. This experience is woven into his work and into the very identity of Pro Schütz.
